Family Update

Many of you remember how tiny our children were when we arrived in Indiana during the summer of 2000. My, how time has passed! Esther is a senior at Jefferson High School, and Jose is a freshman. Juan Carlos is in fifth grade. Esther is doing well in sports. This last season, she was sectional champion for the 800 and advanced to regional’s in track and this coming week will start practicing for cross country.

Revival at Monticello

Last weekend, May 29th through 31st, 2009, we had a great revival at Monticello. The congregation and I started planning this event some weeks ago. Prior to and while we planned this event, I had been teaching the congregation the importance of developing themselves completely as a New Testament church. The brothers and sisters had a positive reaction, and worked hard for this event. It is wonderful seeing this congregation working for Jesus. People were excited inviting, attending, organizing, leading, singing, cleaning and serving. In reality, people were joyful! This event not only impacted the adults, but the children as well. Children went home singing every single day. Parents and children arrived very early every day. On Saturday and Sunday, a group from the congregation of Logansport attended, and on Sunday a family from the congregation of Lafayette attended too. The congregation of Monticello was not passive, but ministering to all the attendees as never before. Thank you so much to the following brothers and sisters for their hard work: Angelica Valencia, Ana Maria Cardona, Ben Navarro, Manuel & Ines Sanchez, and Saul & Carmen Barrera. Thank you so much to the children who sang with Esther and Juan Carlos. Our Lord blessed us through this event. Thank you so much brothers and sisters for supporting our ministry. You and I are a team. The Lord is blessing many people through this ministry.
